I hope this works! Let me know if it doesn't, please; I'm new at this!
I'm pretty sure the process involves 1) allowing popups, and 2) Creating a CDBaby account to complete the transaction. Remember, the MP3 download is free, but a physical CD isn't, so make sure to click the right button!
Again, let me know if this is working for you or not, okay?
Okay, well, the "widget" that was supposed to appear above, didn't... So try this link:
It works for me. Downloaded first track. Really enjoying it-Thanks for sharing.
Good! Glad to hear it worked, Wade. But just one track? Go for the whole album with the "Buy MP3 $0.00" button!
Thanks Bear. I'll take the plunge and get all 18!
I should mention that this album contains all 18 tunes that are on my Nation page, but cleaned up, re-edited, remixed, and in a few cases completely rerecorded. In other words, "new and improved"!
Both new and improved. Thanks Todd. These are really lovely pieces of music. Enchanting and wonderful. The old ones are already favourites and the new ones are well on the way to becoming so. Thanks for your generosity. You are a truly gifted person and it is fantastic that you are so willing to share that gift with us.
All the best.
Listened to about one second of the first track before hitting "download." I can already tell this is good stuff.
A while back I put a little EP up on CD Baby (totally different genre, not relevant here and not something I still do) and it cost me $59 ($10.47 of which I recouped)...is there a different (meaning lower) setup charge to make something available as a free MP3/paid disc item like you've done here? I'd like to explore other channels for putting my own MP3s out than ReverbNation because they have that annoying 8 MB limit. I'm not quite ready to say, "Hey! Buy my MP3 files, people!" yet, so any venue I can get free download files out is worth exploring.
Great stuff Bear
Im planning a podcast of lof iblues and cigar box guitar and need contributions. Can I use some of these tracks? I will include links
Thanks, Dick -- Sure, you're welcome to use any tracks you want. I am a blues lover and player, but many of these tunes are far from being blues. BTW... "lof iblues"? What's that mean? Is it a typo, or am I just dense? Check your inbox for a message, too, okay?
No I wouldnt stick them in a blues box but this is CBB music played superbly and Id want to include it - the show is meant to be about great music coming out of the heartlands wether it be fuzzed out rockers or sweet instrumentals - as long as its got the soul of the Nation!
Its meant to read Lo-fi Blues which suppose is the opposite of the grand scale of what Bonamassa et al are doing. Recording quality aint necessarily have to be top notch for music to be great. Meanwhile, have to say, your album has great sound,
