I have been wanting to try a ceramic slide to see how it sounds verse the aluminum one I have been using.  We have the equipment to make them so I decided to give it a try.  This is a pic of the 1st batch, The bad news is only a few of the biggest ones fit my ring/small finger.  The bulk of the batch turned out to be ring size 6.5 or about 0.670"ID.  They range in length from 1-1/4" - 2-1/4".  If anyone here would like to give these a try (and your finger is small enough to wear it) send me a message.  You pay the postage (small flat rate box $5.75) and I will give you up to 3 slides for free.  Get-em while they last.  Please specify which slide you would like in your message.  Dan

Got the slides today Dan, and they fit perfect. Thank you so much for the great deal....Rarely do I find a slide that fits my tiny hands..and all 3 do...Once again, Thank You!

Thanks for the slides, Dan.  They have proven to be too small for me, but I'm going to give one each to my daughters.  They are beautiful and have a nice tone (I used one like a tone bar with a guitar in my lap.

If possible, I'd maybe try to make the wall a little bit thicker, but they  are absolutely beautiful little slides.  Thanks again.

I got mine and have been playing around with em ... I really like them ,, seems that the sound is really crisp and sharp.

But u gotta get over the correct fret !!!!!!nd it'll sing to ya !

tks so much for these

Hey Dan, do you have any left?  I've been wanting to try these.  I'll take 17, 18 & 21 if they're available.  If not, whatever you have, but I prefer a longer length.  Let me know.  Thanks.

Sorry Frank, these are all gone.

Could you let me know when you have a new batch?  Whatever you're selling them for.  Thanks.

Yes I will.

Here is a pic of the newest batch of slides fresh out of the kiln.  They are cooling down.  I have  ring sizes 5.5, 10 and 13 in lengths of 1-1/2", 2" and 2,1/2".  There are several new colors here and these are thicker then the 1st batch I did.  I (well my daughter) started a web site and we have them for sale there.  http://www.oldashcbg.com/store/c3/Ceramic_Slides_.html

Yeah I'd like to try them too,hit me up when the new batch is done.

Do you still have 14, 15 and 18?

Sorry to say, but all from that set are gone. Read back through this thread. But PM Dan and I bet he has a new batch.

Sorry Seth, Ron is right about this batch, they are long gone.  We have them for sale on my web site at oldash.com   If you need one.
