Frank Proffitt style fretless banjo
I made this one out of white ash and maple. I made the pegs from pear wood. I made the fingerboard from a motorcycle crate. I made the bone nuts from a beef bone I got from a Safeway store. I made the head from calf rawhide. I cut the “tone ring” from a Maxwell House coffee can.
