hello all,

Ive finsihed my first cbg - and I learnt it all from lurking around in here - thank you. Very happy with how it has turned out, intonation is spot on, neck straight etc.

Oak neck, medium jumbo frets, 22 inch scale.  Has piezo with volume control.  Particlulary pleased as I havent done anything like this before, and I did it on a kitchen table over looking the ocean with only hand tools... cheers

  • Yep , another convert!,,

Sound holes,,I tell my customers that the sound hole is only there because I always forget to add 1 thing before I button her up. Which is, I cut the sound hole so I can add every song thats ever been written INTO the box so all my customer has to do is find them,,,,,,,,,And I always say that theres no extra charge for that..........
  • Well done, I have noticed that 90% of my build process involves hand tools, so relaxing. I have all the toys but its the hand work that adds the character,
  • Nice work! It looks fun to play. It's cool that you built it with hand tools - true CBG old school. Welcome to The Revolution.
  • Very nice. Congratulations on your first born!
  • Well Looks like one more hooked! It really looks great, and wait till you hear the music hidden inside! Congradulations, nothing like self satisfaction!

  • Very nice, I am jealous of the ocean view, not a bad place to build guitars.
