Well, for the most part it is! I still need to install the peizo, pot, and jack. Other than that I am going to lower the action a bit, but I am super stoked about how it came out. Plays and sounds great!

There is something to be said about creating a tool of creation! What a thrill! The next build is already in the works, however it being a gift for a friends mother for her birthday!!!!!!!!!

More images are in my image folder, but I will post one here for ease of viewing!!!!!!

  • I do think it is more fun to play with the spacing. It made it easier to transition to that style of playing for me!

It's amazing to be able to put together all those parts together and a REAL instrument comes out! I share your excitement, Chris. I only finished my first one a couple of weeks ago, and I really feel like I am enjoying playing that thing a lot more than my Martin and Fender. Don't you think the wide string spacing on these 3-stringers is more fun to play? Good work, man!

  • Great looking build, playing and building, my hat is off to you.
    Cheers Ron.
  • Thanks so much for all the kind words folks!!!!!!!!!! I played it until about 2AM last night. LOL At first, I was excited to here it play as it should, but once it started to sing, and the rifs started to come out I felt like a kid sitting in his room and finally figuring out how to play that (insert your fav musician here) rif for the first time!!!!! I can see this becoming a hobby that spins way out of control! But anything worth doing is worth over doing I always say!!!!!!!
