Well, for the most part it is! I still need to install the peizo, pot, and jack. Other than that I am going to lower the action a bit, but I am super stoked about how it came out. Plays and sounds great!

There is something to be said about creating a tool of creation! What a thrill! The next build is already in the works, however it being a gift for a friends mother for her birthday!!!!!!!!!

More images are in my image folder, but I will post one here for ease of viewing!!!!!!

Nice job Christopher.
The "first" in any hobby is always a rush, but the feeling of playing my first CBG build is STILL a rush.
I have a room full of instruments and The Screaming Axe Handle is always the one I grab 1st.
I hope your experience is similar and that the feeling never diminishes.

Nice, good work!
Nice, good to see it with strings! After finishing my first one ( a few weeks ago) I lowered the action some and re carved the bridge once, got to play it some to see what needs to be changed to fit you.
That rush when you hear it come to life after installing the strings it addicting I'm on my 12 and just can't slow down. Welcome to the CBG's it spreads like moonshine
Nice build a pretty thing indeed. my first is the ugliest cbg ever but like they all said what a rush. Love it.
Thanks so much for all the kind words folks!!!!!!!!!! I played it until about 2AM last night. LOL At first, I was excited to here it play as it should, but once it started to sing, and the rifs started to come out I felt like a kid sitting in his room and finally figuring out how to play that (insert your fav musician here) rif for the first time!!!!! I can see this becoming a hobby that spins way out of control! But anything worth doing is worth over doing I always say!!!!!!!
Great looking build, playing and building, my hat is off to you.
Cheers Ron.
NIIIIICE!!!!!!

Congrats on finishing your first build. I just started my third, and it is unbelievably addicting.
I know it is!!!!! I already have plans for 2 at the moment!!!!!!!! It's funny, I now see things all over and say to myself, "that could make a nice guitar"! LOL

It's amazing to be able to put together all those parts together and a REAL instrument comes out! I share your excitement, Chris. I only finished my first one a couple of weeks ago, and I really feel like I am enjoying playing that thing a lot more than my Martin and Fender. Don't you think the wide string spacing on these 3-stringers is more fun to play? Good work, man!
I do think it is more fun to play with the spacing. It made it easier to transition to that style of playing for me!
