  • How did you do your headstock? Not a "normal" scarf joint is it?
    • No not a scarf joint at all. The neck is made from two boards laminated together. I roughly cut the neck shape from the resulting board, including the angle for the headstock. Because of the ugly join on the headstock I decided to trim it down and add a face plate.

It was all done a bit back to front but worked out well in the end.
  • Nicely finished.

Bridge looks a little close to the edge, you may get better sound by moving it a bit toward the center of the box.

    • Thanks for the advice. I'll try moving the bridge (would this not effect the scale), but it does sound great already.
      • You'd have to change your fret markings to suit the changed scale length

        • Thanks Michael. I'm happy with sound on this one so I'm going to leave it as is. And move onto the next build.
  • Great build

    • Thanks Michael
  • Beautiful work...

    • Much appreciated John
