Nicely finished.

Bridge looks a little close to the edge, you may get better sound by moving it a bit toward the center of the box.

Thanks for the advice. I'll try moving the bridge (would this not effect the scale), but it does sound great already.

You'd have to change your fret markings to suit the changed scale length

Thanks Michael. I'm happy with sound on this one so I'm going to leave it as is. And move onto the next build.

How did you do your headstock? Not a "normal" scarf joint is it?

No not a scarf joint at all. The neck is made from two boards laminated together. I roughly cut the neck shape from the resulting board, including the angle for the headstock. Because of the ugly join on the headstock I decided to trim it down and add a face plate.

It was all done a bit back to front but worked out well in the end.
