  • I just got a Jamman stereo in out and mike input you can change the tempo and the pitch stays the same and lots of storage space. usb only thing is you have to do the singing and dancing yourself.

I just gotta learn to use it now ,-)

  • the 2's have only audio jack. The "3" series don a fancy USB connector for direct download/upload of media files (WAV).

Memory for storing the tracks is also bigger. The sound of "3"'s is a bit on the "plastic" side (IMHO).

    • Thank you I did not know that or I don't remember. I was not using the tap tempo so you can't change the tempo of the saved track. Thanks Diane for asking and Jay for knowing.  Can't say anything about the Jamman but the XL is a tank very strong wish it had more memory.

  • I am debating between the 20XL and the JamMan solo at this point.  Hmmm.  Teenage daughter's bday fast approaches . . .

    • Update:  JamMan Stereo is now the front runner.

  • RC-20XL can do this. Load sample, then "double tap" the tempo. I use the feature for learning new songs (playalongs etc.)

Never used the other one (JamMan), but the device seems to be not bad a choice either.

  • Also, any other opinions on features and pros and cons you have are welcome.  And we know CBG builders are an opinionated bunch.
