    Fill in your details, select "dulcimer" in instrument section, and the calculator will give you the measurements for the diatonic frets.

    Or, you can use standard fret layout, but only use the 2nd, 4th, 5th, 7th, and 9-12 frets, which is essentially the diatonic frets on a chromatic fret layout. (note: the added 10th fret is a flat/sharp blues note seen on some diatonic fretboards, and can be omitted).
