I would try scanning it onto my computer or photocopying it and using the copy. At least copy it before trying to remove it.

I've had good luck removing the "My Father's Cigar" decal by using a heat gun (carefully) to warm up the underlying glue. Once you get a corner up, just continue to apply a little heat under the decal to help it along. A hair dryer works well if you don't have a heat gun.

Try covering with a damp washcloth and then iron it, the steam should loosen the glue. But try it on another box first some paper will wrinkle.
