Terrible news. Rest well, sir. Will see you soon enough. So much knowledge and love have moved on! Prayers for his family and friends, who will feel the loss acutely.

So sorry to hear the sad news. Dave, Mose and the gang will be sorely missed. Please accept my sincere condolences to Yannis and family. Here's to a multi-talented individual and very popular contributor and friend on the Nation. They broke the mold when you were made... Proper Legend!

Well this one hurts and it would hurt more if you didn't keep us informed John thank you Brother.

Dave could take a stick a rock a sting a pencil  or piece of clay and make something useful musical or amazing out of it, a true Artist. All our Love and there is a lot here to you Dave and your Family.

We lost a good man. Dave was more than an artist and musician. He was that rarest of things, a decent human being.He enriched the lives of everyone he met. The Empty Bowls Food Drive he established brought comfort to many. He lives on in the hearts of those whose lives he touched both here on the nation and in his daily life.

Dave has had an impact on my life and will never be forgotten. I have too many of his wonderful drawings and pottery items to ever truly miss him entirely.

10.6.21    No obits posted on Dave Lynas - or at least none that I can find. His friend Tony said they had a nice memorial service for him and lots of people and stories.

I can imagine it was quite a memorial. I wish I could've attended and heard some of those stories. Thanks for the updates John and Pick.
