Hmmm. Normally, we're trying to get soundboards as thin as possible, so they resonate better ( just thinking my way through this out loud). It would seem to me that to drive a thicker soundboard to resonance, you'd need either lower frequencies provided by a longer scale length, and / or thicker strings. Tuning 'em down might also help.<br />

Have to dig into this some more. Might not matter if you were going to install a pup; but I think it would matter if you were going full acoustic.
