As a result of becoming a member of this site we have all had the pleasure of meeting friends from places other than where we live (as well as in our local areas). One very recent experience that i had involved travel to Italy. As a member of this site, i had noticed that from Sicily, a member, Konstantin Gehring. I wrote Konstantin after looking at his work and videos (check it out) to get information about my travels as to what would be the best places to see in the one day that i would be there. He was most gracious in responding, and actually wanted to personally take me around the city himself! WOW, This certainly doesn't happen here in Detroit! He asked me to bring him a cigar box from America, since they are very difficult to come by there. Well i got together about a dozen or so boxes in a variety of sizes and styles for him. He met me at port and i gave him his gift which included an old wood box made in Detroit. He was elated which made me very happy! After spending my day in Palermo, he said he had something he wanted to give me to take with me back to America. He presented me with his Red Stripe CBG that he made!!! I was floored to say the least! It and that day became one of the best parts of my trip! Shane Speal and all who are members of this site truly make a difference in so many ways, sometimes there is no gratification and when the experience is heartfelt as mine was it will last for an eternity!
