Cigar Box Inserts

Hiya -

  If you're like me and save even ridiculously under-sized scrap wood for some future fantasy project, you no doubt have a lot of cigar box inserts lying around. I was wondering...

  What do you seasoned builders do with these things? The rectangular blocks and side inserts:

The miscellaneous bits you sometimes come across (I keep finding these 'L' shaped bits):

And, what's the best way to get rid of these puffy side spacers?

They make great fake cat food , when chopped up  .... cause  every guitar needs a cat food dispenser, ya know . ;-)
