Cigar Box for sale signed by Fidel Castro

Hi,

 

I'm new to this forum and was wondering if anyone was interested in buying my cigar box, which has been signed by Fidel Castro -  Certificate of Authenticity available on request.

 

Fidel Castro's signature on a piece of paper is currently worth approx £4k.  His signature has increased in value by 1216% over 13 years from 1997-2010, beaten to the top only by Walt Disney.

    So cant afford it but wouldnt it make the ultimate Cigarbox Guitar if only it was on the outside of the box...

    uh, that's $11,250 US.

    Might need to put more than a $2 piezo in it!

    Bearing it mind it's going to at least double in value when he passes away (I paid 5k for it 2 years ago) I'm asking for £7k now.  I'm happy to hang onto it until the right time, but if I get a good offer in the meantime I could be tempted :)

    Thanks Christine, but I was being a bit tongue-in-cheek.  I fear a Fidel-signed CBG down here would be treated Roger Daltry-style: smashed to bits

    I've been to Miami and Cuba - loved the music and culture, amazing places!

    I'd like to see a picture of the box and the certificate.

     

    I live in Miami area and wonder how a CBG signed by Fidel would go over in Little Havana.
