Howdy y'all, I think this is my first post on the forums... so hello from Rhode Island, and soon Florida!

I'm finishing up a graduation project for school that I'm doing on CBGs and other homemade instruments. I've already downloaded a lot of photos from John McNair's websites and waiting on confirmation to use them, and I've asked a few other people and groups, but I'm still looking for any weird, insanely cool, and historic pics I can find. I'll make sure to give you proper credit, and once it's all done, I'll upload for y'all to see the work. Any help is appreciated!

  • Now I'm not saying that this chap (Scott Winburn) is weird and wouldn't like to even imply that he was, but look at some of the things he has made. I think they are right off the bonkers scale and oh so beautifully constructed. Good luck.

  • If you want to use a pic from my page go right ahead. Just give credit to Country Boy Guitars.  Good luck with the project.

  • I don't think I have anything weird, insanely cool, or historic, but if any of my pics catch your eye, feel free.

  • Lots of weirdos on this site. We could all send you personal portraits for your project, but that might get you suspended...

Here's a picture of "The Screamin' Preacher." It was built by Shane Speal, but is now part of my personal collection.

Because of who built it, it's loaded with significance to the modern revival, so go ahead and use it if you so desire.

Speaking of Mr Speal, you may want to check out the new group centered around the Cigar Box Guitar Museum.
