Well I got some more done on my CBG today after setting it aside the past week...
I still need to glue on the end part of the neck to make it thicker and to give me something to securely attach the body and neck together. I will also add a finger board to this build.

Got my replacement Mag Pickup from Dan Sleep and cut a hole in the body top for the pickup... Dan does some really nice work and aims to please you with his product.
Got more done....
I still need to notch the bridge saddle.
The stain I used on the finger / fret board is made from soaking #0000 steel wool in white vinegar and then was wiped on. I will top coat it with something to create a nice sheen to it.
Mounted the tail piece (still need to drill string holes) and cut my finger / fret board...
I am thinking of trying to use this sewing machine bobbin holder as seen in the above picture as the bridge with a saddle under it to raise it to the right height. I'm just not sure if it is to rounded on the top of it.
Craved away the parts of the neck that don't belong in this build....
Yes I did some of the neck shaping with a Tomahawk
So far so good, Corbin. Looks like your neck height is spot on, and with a fretboard added as you mentioned, the strings will have the right elevation for the bridge break angle, and if you have a mg pup in mind, a good clearance for that too. Good work.
Now comes the time of fun to shape it....
