Any use for this?

I took apart an electric drill that was worn. Before tossing these parts, does anyone know if they can be used to make a pick up etc.? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Magnets can always be used as pickups.
I suspect the copper wiring will be too thick to create a worthy coil for the pickup though...
