I just bought my first guitar amp, used of course. 50 bucks.. It's a "Holmes Tech 40R" there isn't much info on these other then either people loved these or they were built from 1985-1987... Anyone heard of these... It does sound nice and bought it from Original owner for 50 bucks with an upgraded rocket 50 12 inch... Any thoughts? Thanks
Looks like you got 50 bucks worth or more, all the references I've seen to holmes amps refer to replaced speakers but no other faults. Sounds like the speaker problem has already been addressed. I gotta little peavey amp I paid about that for, I can't play but it makes alot of noise, and I've already had 50 bucks worth of fun with it. Enjoy!
