4 string info follow up

A while ago I posted about my 4  string  questions. Well I decided to add a bit of a follow up. In the spirit of "use what you've got,"I tried fishing line. I used 80 , 50, 30 , &  25 pound test. After trying a few tunings to come up with something I liked, I decided on D,Adf# and I really like it. I had to retune till they settled in. They sound great through the "Hamilton"  amp I got from Gitty. And the tension feels about right to my fingers. I play without a slide so they work well for me. I'm learning to play blues without a slide... (Hope That's Not Too Far From The Traditional Approach)
