<p>Greetings,</p>
<p>I build three string fretless slide guitars with a 25.5 scale length (pictured). My questions is that I have a request for a 30" scale baritone version and was wondering what strings to use and what tuning you all might recommend?</p>
<p>I currently use the Shane Seal 3 String Acoustics from CB Gitty tuned to open G. </p>
<p>Thanks in advance, Jim…</p>

<p>I´m making 28.5 scale 4 or 5 string 16 fret baritone cbg.</p>
<p>Neck is mahogany and ash laminated together.</p>
<p><a href="http://storage.ning.com/topology/rest/1.0/file/get/1078541356?profile=original" target="_self"><img class="align-full" height="264" src="http://storage.ning.com/topology/rest/1.0/file/get/1078541356?profile=RESIZE_1024x1024" width="237"></img></a> For the maple fingerboard I measured and marked frets layout.</p>
<p>Next I burned with wood burner frets layouts</p>

<p>Next I measured from nut to bridge 28.5 scale</p>
<p><a target="_self" href="http://storage.ning.com/topology/rest/1.0/file/get/1078539170?profile=original"><img width="721" class="align-full" src="http://storage.ning.com/topology/rest/1.0/file/get/1078539170?profile=RESIZE_1024x1024" height="109" width="247"/></a>I glued fingerboard on neck. My method is best done by two persons.</p>

<p>I need work more on box and neck ect.</p>
<p>For nut and bridge I use short screw bolt.</p>
<p></p>
<p>Maybe I can play it also as bass with bass amp.</p>
<p>I´m thinking what baritone strings to use. Neck is 5cm wide.</p>
<p>Tuners I´m going to use are like this <a target="_blank" href="http://www.applestone-music.co.uk/contents/media/gotoh_sg301.jpg"><img class="align-full" src="http://www.applestone-music.co.uk/contents/media/gotoh_sg301.jpg" height="101" width="120"/></a></p> Baritone CBG for a friendtag:www.cigarboxnation.com,2011-01-26:2592684:Topic:4302312011-01-26T19:12:03.809ZWichita Samhttps://www.cigarboxnation.com/profile/WichitaSam
