How did you learn about Cigar Box Nation?: internet

How many instruments have you built so far?: I am building my 11th cigar box guitar now

What do you find most interesting about cigar box guitars? (If you do not enter something meaningful here (at least one sentence long), your membership may be rejected as a spam/bot fake account).: I love I can build an instrument that I can play and sounds good too, that I built with my own hands in my little basement workshop. I enjoy the cigar box guitar community and everyone who shares my passion.

Made a 6 string out of her. This Ohio one is all from scratch, and as low budget as possible. So far the only thing I've bought to make it are 3 sanding blocks. I will check out your LPG- thanks for offering to help, I will likely have more questions- ie: this is my first 3 string, and I did have questions about acoustic string sizes and tunings. The gitty article I read recomended using the 3 highest pitched strings of a set and tuning G B E. I'm still learning to play, so I'm flexible! My first one is tuned Open E- I haven't tried anything else yet
