If ya'll are itching to build a great little cheap but authentically medieval looking HURDY GURDY,  check out this video I've made for my wholesale repping business and the line UGears US.  This fun kit is easy to build, cheap, and will be a great introduction into the whole world of this, one of the earliest keyboard instruments.
