There used to be a guy here called Crow.  He specialized in on the top simple, quick and fun builds.  We used to call the simplest ones, Crow style.

Thanks gentlemen. I wasn't sure how I would like these stick-on-top builds either. I am glad I tried it out though because the sound is surprisingly clear and they are also very comfortable to play. This design also works better than a stick through with the coffin top cigar boxes. This design will be my go to when a quick fun build is in order.

Nice,   Some how I have never done a stick on top;  Very nice neck and scalloping over the box.  Sounds good too.
