If you like to make it lighter you can use a capo as well for the same thing, my clamp was made out of plastic so not heavy at all, but you got your metal one's also,i dont think those are the one i mean wes!! and besides oakwood is pritty sturdy!!

The side noise is because the camera records on the Neck,and the Sound comes from below!,so keep in mind to place the Amp up high aswell !!i put it up anyway,i think it sound extra interesting to hear both! ,normaly you tend to hear only the Amp sound.
