since that only shows 3 string tuning for open "E", use an unwound B string and back off to a A flat

Thanks Richard, the best strings to use on the last four bottom ones of a regular 6 string set correct?

Read the entire "tuning and string choice" link I previously posted, they give a couple options best suited, and if you want a higher tone, rather than trying to tune the one of the other strings to do this, buy a set of light or Hybrid light strings from Ernie Ball Slinky, eBay or whomever you buy from.

Basically, depending on tuning, they use a variety of 5 of the 6 strings to achieve their tuning, all but the standard "G" string in a 6 string pack, pick your tuning, use the 4 recommended, and try it so see if you like it, you can always experiment with other open "E" tuning, like E G# B E using the top 4 strings, watch this video, this guy has a lot of good ones to watch
