Hey y'all,

I've been making some backing tracks to jam along with, so I figured I'd put them up on youtube to share with everyone. I didn't want them mixed in with my other videos, so you can find them here at a new channel I made just for the jams!

CBG Jam Tracks Youtube

There's also a Dropbox folder with mp3s here:

CBG Jam Tracks Dropbox

I've got a couple different 12 bar blues jams in 7 keys uploaded so far with scale diagrams included.  Here's the Slow Rockin' Blues in G.

My goal is to keep going with this in different styles, keys and tempos so let me know if there's something you'd like to see.  I think some country and folk progressions with the major scale are next on the list. I can also do things like take out the drums or any of the other instruments if folks are looking for something a little more stripped down.  I'm considering some with 4 string scales as well if there's interest.

Feedback is welcome and keep on rockin!

UPDATE 5/8/16
Added Neil Young style (Cortez) tracks.

UPDATE 4/6/16

Added Stones style rock and a bluegrass jam and Dropbox folder for mp3s.

UPDATE 3/22/16

Added "Classic Country" in 7 keys.  I think I'll limit it to 4-5 keys (G, D, A, E, maybe C) from here on out unless someone needs a different key - let me know!

Thanks Turtlehead nice work always looking for tracks to play with see what I can do with um

very  cool  .  i  can see  some a diy colabs comin out of this  ;-)

This is soooo helpful!!

For lame players like myself, I like to be able to just fire up a track like this and sit and noodle until I figure something out. I put the track on loop and just let it play over and over. That way I don't have to keep getting up and starting it over manually.

If you don't mind, I will put a link to your YouTube channel on my Humidor Guitars site.

Thanks so much for doing this!

Thanks Turtlehead! These are great!
Hmmm. Jam trax album, mebbe?

Thanks!  Do you have WAV versions of these I can upload to my looper so I can play in the garage?

Glad folks are enjoying them!  It's a great way to practice.  I'm working on some country right now that should be up tonight.

Dan, by all means put up a link - thanks!

Yep, I smell an album...

John, I knew somebody would ask ;) - I'll get some together and post the wavs soon.

You rock, thanks!

John, do you need wav files specifically or would mp3 work?  The wav files are pretty big - around 90 mb.

MP3 s work, or I can convert them...

I posted a link on my site, and spammed FaceBook with it while I was at it.

Thanks

Boy do I suck at this. Well done. Gives me something to practice. The fewer notes I play, the better it sounds.
