Pickup Advice Needed For Resonator CBG

Found a couple of nice pie tins recently at goodwill store and planning to take a shot at my first resonator build. While I expect to generally play it acoustic, may want to plug it in occasionally. What type of pickup would be best to preserve that unique reso sound? Piezo rod under bridge, mag pup up by the neck? Other? Appreciate any pointers in general for a reso actually. Will be fretted, will build a box. Thanks in advance!

Based on advice I've received here, plan on doing both with mine. Will stick piezo disc directly on the reasonator (stainless pet food dish) and install a magnetic neck pickup and a 5 way switch.

Thanks for the input guys. Next question: as I lay out my box, is it best to plan for the bridge to rest in the center of the pie tin, or can I move it back, maybe a third of the way across it?

Phil & Wayfinder: yep fully agree and actually did remember that. Haven't started on the git yet, so will be building the box and neck with that in mind. Just trying to get a feel for placement of the tin. Thinking I may just play around with it on another git in a makeshift way just to see where I get the best tone, then start building to that point.
