Avoid the UPS Store. The guy wanted 200 bucks to pack and ship a cbg. It ended running around 40 bucks to ship using my own material and box through the USPS, and that was from MA to NJ, not terribly far. The further you need to ship, the more it will cost you. Be sure and measure your box to ensure that you meet the size regulations no matter what way you want to ship.

I'm not sure about this...but...I don't think the UPS Store is actually affiliated with UPS the courier so any of the insurance and assurances that the courier may give is not be automatic from the store. At least I think it's like that up here in Canada.

My understanding is they are franchise operations. they can charge whatever they want, I suppose, but will never get any business from me. $200 USD was insane.
