#7 - "Le Ténor du Terroir"

Nylon string tenor guitar, 23,5" scale length, wine box, sides and back stained with a mixture of “mahogany” stain and – yes – red wine (not the good one that comes in boxes like this though…), hand shaped mahogany neck, rosewood fretboard with wooden dowel fret dots and skewer side dots, bone nut and bridge, piezo rod under the bridge, preamp.

In combination with the shorter scale length this makes for really comfortable playing. This guitar plays like butter! At the moment it's tuned to open G. But I'm still experimenting with the tuning. I'd like to try tuning it lower. But then again I also want to have two wound and two unwound strings on it. Still figuring out all the possibilities here...
