Thanks Paul, and Uncle John! I tend to agree with you Unc, I don't build a lot of sixers but I always get asked if I do, some players are just more comfortable with something familiar. I'm always buying old parlor guitars to refurbish or steal parts from and this neck looked to be a good match for the body so I went with it, it's got a great acoustic sound. Nice boxes if you can find them

Yup, what Paul said.   I am a bit prejudiced against sixes in the CBG genre using factory necks.  They are cool, but kind of a different genre I think.   I've built a couple and keep one on hand for my friend Ted.  Partly, I don't like em' much because I play better with fewer strings. 

This one is the coolest I remember ever seeing.   That fretboard sets it off nicely and adds a needed home made touch.   The open tuners and box, pup, volume control are all neat and go together well.   The hard tail bridge ..   combined with open tuners.   Hunh.  Seems like it should not work, but it DOES.
