#156- Pandora's Box

#156- Ever wonder exactly what was in Pandora's box? Well, after building this "Pandora's Box", I still don't know, but I don't think the original had a hand wound pickup, hand carved wooden braces and a bunch of wires! I do know that this antique, all-cedar cigar box was used for years as someone's bank or cash box, so....I kept the theme going. There's ol' George appliquéd to the headstock, Honest Abe inlaid into the bubinga fingerboard at the octave, a distinguished native American chief, inlaid in the top corner, and, hidden partially in the coin slot, a coin of unknown origin and value. So, we do know two things: 1) Pandora's Box is worth at least $1.06, and 2) she's loud as hell.
