This is my first CBG project using decoupage...and it pays tribute to one of those famous beauties in history, Evelyn Nesbit, who was so gorgeous she caused men to go insane.  One of whom, her husband, was so enraged to learn he wasn't the first man to touch her, he sought out the perpetrator and shot him in full view of half the city of NY.  This case, the Thaw-White murder case, was an early example of the defendant trying to get off by reason of insanity.  Anyway, thanks to Pinterest I was able to download PD pics of our subject, glued then varnished onto the cigar box, rigged up the neck, strings and such.  The fret markers are "The Eternal Question",  another sketch of Miss Nesbit from Charles Dana Gibson (as is the center on the back).
