Pocket Guitar Amp Head 2014 009

Found this little cedar box at a yard sale. Measures 9.5" x 2.5" x 1.75". I decided to make a guitar amp head. It's a simple LM386 circuit with an on/off switch, LED power indicator, volume control with a chicken head knob, and in/out jacks. Runs on a single 9 volt battery. The output is only 1/2 watt, but it will easily drive a 12" cabinet at bedroom volume level.
