Klangbox Violin no 4

* Montecristo cigarbox * handmilled tempered pear fingerboard * old wormy pear neck from my hood * scarved snail * oak nut * plum bridge * 008 guitar strings * brass covered cutaways
Today n°3 and n°4 were played by a opera violinist. She liked the charming sound and its overtones, the sound would fit folk and old baroque musik as well. Sophisticated music from the high classic wouldn't be that fine, because the handling is a bit limitted compared to master builds (she showed me one built in Naples, Italy, by one of the Gagliano fellas in 1782..)
No3 is load and has a sharp sound (oak fingerboard?), while this one n°4 is more modest and smooth sounding (plum bridge & lighter bracing). Nice to tinker and to see what comes out :-)
