ha .,.,i bought the same thing at the flea market for $8 .,.,spliced in a neck shaft and ended up with a diddley ..amazing how they make these from little strips of wood.,.,

No marks or maker name I can find. Yes , it has paper inside, looks to be varnished over. I was told it was from the 20's, but who knows.

the bowl is rosewood.Normally in the inside there is paper covered to protect it from moisture.
