Hey mate, hows that case coming on???
Thanks for ya comments on the amp - I kinda like it all hanging out the back too, so its staying as it is. Soon as I get the matching cbg done there'll be a demo run...

Your instruments are beautiful honey!
I wish i could be around while you are making them, attention to detail is second to none. I just hope my attempts turn out as good.
Yeah L/H not good for first build, looks all wrong.lol
I can't say to much about that tho my son is a lefty. I think they get a rough deal guitar wise, lack of choice. Maybe we can re address the balance and make lovely instruments for the lefty community. It could catch on!

Just been making a neck for the mandolin I am building for a friend. She has put so much work into Gerry's new CD without payment so I am building it as a present. I think i want to keep it .LOL But it is L/H =(
It is a Les Paul Jr shape and will be finished in white with T/shell pickguard.
What are you working on at the moment?
Have you had the CBG weekend yet? Losing track of this year!
Will pass on your regards to Gerry.

Much love

This is seriously weird in terms of coincidence, syncronicity or whatever...I know Barnsley Civic Hall well...the folk club there was where the first place I ever played guitar in public...I recall going to see Fairport Convention there too...

Blimey..what a coincidence. In my teens I used to go to Wombwell kart track most weekends, either marshalling at race meetings, helping my mates with their karts or running the hire karts. Whereabouts do you live?..my folks still live in Barnsley (Ward Green)..I was up there only the other weekend.

juju,

"dirty, low down Blues" is played on a fretless 4 string using part of a P-Bass pup set, run thru a PA head and a 4X12 Peavey Bass cabinent. Then, recorded ambiant, directly onto my laptop...

Quick and dirty... may try to clean it up later...

thanks,

Sam

You're on the right track, Juju, technically speaking, bamboo is a giant grass, and the yidaki (didgeridoo) indeed comes from Gondwannaland (Australia) but this is not the traditional termite-hollowed eyucalyptus, that species of termite lives only in Australia, unless they've started migrating recently. In the Hollywood ghetto, the budget is literally 0 $ and starvation keeps me perky. Cheers! (Love the slide...)
