Just joined up, loaded up some pictures of my first attempts at CBG building, and thought I'd introduce myself. You can call me JP and I live in central Minnesota. The snow finally melted here so I took my "gits" out by a big old maple tree and took some pictures. I hope some of the veterans will take a look and comment, please?! I already spoiled the Photos area with copious documentation of my latest (actually also my first) CBG project, so it's time to say something.

I play quite a few stringed instruments (bass, guitar, upright and guitarron). I'm left handed, so I already spent weeks at the workbench converting my instruments from right-handed originals. I liked it (somehow) but building something from scratch is more fun.

I hope my energy won't disperse and I'll stay with you for a "moment", populating the boring German town I live in with fine examples of the CBG craft ;-)

(I'm not a German FWIW)
