What's on your workbench?

This could be git related or not. So, what's on your workbench at the moment?

I have 4 scarf joint necks in different stages of work.

A 25" scale pine 5 string neck for a Banjo-Res, A 25" scale Red Oak neck for my 6 string Strat-Res build, A 24 & 1/2" scale Red Oak neck for my 6 string Double Cut Tele build and a 27" scale 6 string Baritone Conversion neck for a Modern Strat body I have.

It's whats on my bench but I'm unable to make the photos show. Anyhow. It's build number 2. a Drew Estate box and I'm pretty happy with it.

Hey I'd love your opinion on the knife/bridge/tailpiece. I need to put a sound hole in the top and cant quite figure out a design that suits the knife and lion head.

Thoughts? Is the knife a lame idea?

This is thhe proposed layout with the sound hole. The bullet is only needed if the bridge needs to create more string height.

The bullet bridge may be a problem for you. The lack of string grooves will allow the strings to "wander" causing issues with string spacing.

Hopefully powder isn't in the shell. You could cut some shallow grooves for strings being careful not to cut all the way through the thin wall of the shell.

I know that many claim that brass helps with sustain. My experience with brass is that it dampens the harmonics making it kinda dull toned. I prefer steel for the bridge(often use a steel bolt). I've used brass bolts for the nut before, but had to change over to steel on one git. Bone is great for nut or bridge.
