Here’s an easy one for those who build their own. Figured I’d try to wake this group up, so here I go. 

2n2222a, 2n3904, 2n4401, 2n5088, 2n5089 are recommended, ranging from lower to higher gain 

Connect red wire of battery snap to circuit If S1 is not used

Have fun & keep it simple
