This could be git related or not. So, what's on your workbench at the moment?

I have 4 scarf joint necks in different stages of work.

A 25" scale pine 5 string neck for a Banjo-Res, A 25" scale Red Oak neck for my 6 string Strat-Res build, A 24 & 1/2" scale Red Oak neck for my 6 string Double Cut Tele build and a 27" scale 6 string Baritone Conversion neck for a Modern Strat body I have.

Hi Paul, the rosette was removed from the original damaged top and inlaid into the new top. The fingerboard covers the gap over the top of the soundhole.

Taff

The top one is my first baritone. 27" electric. Bottom one, I saw this box at wallymart and I could not resist. This will be a 2 stringer, fretless, with a piezo. This will be my second 2 stringer.

When i come home from work I'll be making my new piezo pickup experiment. Placing it in a CBG and playing it through my Marshall. REALLY hoping this version doesn't have the phasing the last one did.

Interested in how this turns out.

I ordered the Gold 3-way switch, Gold Tele Knobs and Gold strap buttons to finish out the BO Diddly guitar wiring and hardware. I'm using a clasp from a old guitar case I found on the curbside.

After that, it just needs strings.

Found the adding machine at a garage sale. Keys will make fret markers, some retro hardware on the outside, who knows what's inside, and after gutting it, it might make an instrument someday.

Yes, you could do the number for the fret - 1 - 3 - 5 - and so on. White ones on a dark fretboard, black ones on a light/natural board. Good Idea.

and if you have the same pull handle i had , you can take off the round grip,  and  use it as a slide ..  and the arm makes a good whammy bar arm .  i see some nice bridge  material and  nut material up top too , and a volume knob .  ;-)

Great ideas Pick.

I just started thinking about cbg ukes here is a prototype I worked on today. The pine neck is out of shape     {twisted} already so its back to Tassie oak.

Taff

That looks nice Taff. I really like the sound holes too.

After weeks of planning. Even drilling out the base for mounting holes. All this for my home made barrel sander table. I turned the old router up side down.... apparently it needs gravity to stay in it's holder.  Well that's not going to stop me. I'll make a top mount for it. It will be over the table base instead of under. So I take all my measurements. I make a simple 3D drawing.....It'll work but I wont be able to see what I'm doing. ( there's a deep sigh here, really I did just that.) All the plans of rat and men. My original plan was to use my drill press. Make a table to work the sanding on. I'll go back to that. The router itself would have never worked well as a router. Warped base. But everything else works perfectly so that's not a loss. I still have a motor I can mount and use.
