I'm going to build a 4-string resonator as a keeper for myself and I was considering putting a Lace Matchbook on it because they sound great. The problem is that they are too damn ugly. lol So I've been waiting to buy one until they come out with different covers or somebody finds a good way to replace the cover. But I was joking when I said send me yours. : )
Sounds good AD tinjos are great that’s all I play my Fisher Boy , looking forward to see your next creation . As lots of us on Nation do . Regards Jeff . I have a round Arnotts tin to work on looking at 5 string banjo type build at the more it’s just wandering around in my head ....
No Andries, used Marble for the Sitar Type Bridge on AGP #310 ''Shitar'', but yet to use it as the Box in a Build, thanks for reminding me, the Marble Build had slipped my mind :-D
Hi Andries. Morning in old Duluth. Sun is shining but cold as ice. Spring is yet to show up except we have a pet rabbit who begs for sunflower seeds from me every day.

Pedal Steel is the one with the pedals, and Lap steel can be played in the lap or on a stand. Steel refers to the strings for the most part. They are usually 8 string, 10 string and some 12 string, but you can do however many you want or can play I guess. A lot of these gits use aluminum or steel nuts and bridges.
My git has a steel bolt for the bridge and will be getting an aluminum nut. May add 2 more strings, don't have to worry about the fretboard being big enough. ;)
MS stands for Mississippi. I used to live in Memphis Tennessee, then moved just across the State Line. It's funny that I grew up living 2 miles from Elvis's house(Graceland) and now I live less than a mile from Elvis's Ranch. Can't seem to get far enough away. Haha But I'm also 5 minutes away from the Blues Highway, 20 minutes away from Beale Street and 15 minutes away from Jerry Lee Lewis's house. Lots of Rock and Blues around here.
That License Plate guitar makes a good Lap Slide. Thought about putting legs on it. Make do with what you have and find something useful to make out of what you have. Haha

Thanks Andries, I'm finishing up a two-stringer right now, a cabin fever project while it snows, too much fun.
Not yet, but will as soon as possible. Thanks
Keep jamming. I like the "Family Pic".
Hey Andries. Sun’s just thinking of coming up in old Duluth. Coffee in hand, thinking about today’s adventures. Have a great day Andries!
