Just wanted to say hi to the cigar box guitar Community

I have been reading a lot of the postest. I had no idea there was such a variety of homemade instruments. I will be building my one CBG soon and I would like to lean on the Community for help ideas and encouragement .

Most of us would suggest you do a fretless build to start and likely a three string or a one string diddley bow. Check out how to build under resources at page top. Bolt saddles and nuts are fine and easiest. Keep about 2 inches from the nut to the nearest tuner if you can. Keep it simple. Have fun. Check out knotlenny's CBG 101 under resources, how to play.
