Installing tele adjustable bridge (string through bottom)

Hi Gang, I've just ordered a 4 string tele adjustable bridge to install on a CBG I'm building. The problem I am trying to figure out is the strings a fed through the back of the guitar up through the bridge. I don't want the strings to pull through the bottom of the box so should the neck be supported right to the back of the guitar at the bridge and I am assuming I will have to purchase rivets for furrels that will help support the strings through the back. Am I right? Thanks for all your help.

Basically, these Chinese-made bridges are a 4 string version of a  "Stratocaster" solid body electric guitar bridge, so they are intended to be installed in the same way, with the string holes drilled right through the solid body and ferrules installed in the back of the body. Here at ChickenboneJohn Guitars we make stainless steel versions of this type of bridge for 3 and 4 string guitars which have the options of  both "string thru' body" or "top loading" (through the back of the bridge) string installation.
