My first build......

Here's a pic of my first attempt at a CBG. I built this at a workshop by a local guy Cigarbox Sounds. Great workshop and I came away with a playable fretless CBG.

I've a feeling this may get addictive............

Comment by Les Keith on April 19, 2018 at 7:31am: Yeah Lonman, sanded, blowtorch which seemed to dry the wood and darken the grain then a good drink of stain (not sure what colour, just what was handy).

Comment by Lonman on April 18, 2018 at 12:25pm: yes, yes, I especially like the way the neck turned out. What was done to that to achieve the color? Stain, random blowtorches? Love it.

Comment by Les Keith on April 16, 2018 at 4:49am: Thanks Korrigan, it was a bit of a leap of faith when Scott who was running the workshop suggested taking a blowtorch to the neck i'd just finished sanding but it does give an interesting finish.
