MFJ, thanks for the big photo. Hooray for lower-end manufacturing when re-purposing for cbg's (especially your hcg). Again, great lookin' git. Also, nice to see someone admitting to being older than me and still getting it done. Ya got me by a couple of years. I imagine that you, like me, have a little more time on your hands than in the past, and are putting the time to good use. Happy buildin'!

Thanks Grandpa,I am amazed by the sound,I've only built one other hcg from a 1947(one year younger than me) Jaguar which doesn't match this acoustically.I can only put that down to the fact that the Jag cap is heavier and much better made than the shoddy thin BMC era Wolseley.

Nice hcg build. I liked seeing your layout plans, too. Good looking trapeze tailpiece and bridge. Can you post a full length pic of the finished git? Hope it's a good player for ya. I doubt if anyone wonders anymore, but your photo is a great display of "ya can't have too many clamps"!
