This could be git related or not. So, what's on your workbench at the moment?

I have 4 scarf joint necks in different stages of work.

A 25" scale pine 5 string neck for a Banjo-Res, A 25" scale Red Oak neck for my 6 string Strat-Res build, A 24 & 1/2" scale Red Oak neck for my 6 string Double Cut Tele build and a 27" scale 6 string Baritone Conversion neck for a Modern Strat body I have.

Well nobody really knows. LOL I used those black pants in the background so the green dots would show up on my crappy camera.

I do wear pants while working on guitars, especially while using cutting tools for obvious reasons. LOL

Thanks for the compliments.

The little hooks on some plastic hangers make good side markers, they are a smaller diameter. I "accidentally " broke them off a hanger as the color was perfect for a build.

The hollow that was mentioned is from the molding process. It may come and go as you move to different sections.

Correct, the hollow part isn't all the way through and the some just have a weird coloring in the middle.

Haven't seen any with the small hooks on hangers in awhile, maybe because they "accidentally break off" easy. ;) Now they all seem to have a depressed area for hooking the garment on.

I still use the colored pencils for side markers these days, but if you like fancy markers Stewmac has a lot to offer.

Wasn't me I swear!

cool, I never thought about plastic coat hangers, especially for the colors. Recently I was at different hobby stores and I always find myself looking at different beads and buttons, bought a few 1/4" size shell types, like 12 on a string. under 5.00.

That's a good idea too Lonman.

Working on frets, yay.

got a cheap 3D printer from ebay.. this is it half built..... currently at 3/4 built.

Nice. What are you going to make with it?

a couple of years ago i modelled the Eagle from Space:1999 for a free game called oolite. its an free game based on the old 1980's version of Elite.

anyway i am going to print that, then i have some other projects. a way to mount a 7"Samsung tablet in the car, an adaptor to use standard PET bottels in my SodaStream .  then i have orders to print some molds for the missus so she can cast things in plaster of paris for her scrapbooking... possibly custom enclosures for projects... then a walk through thingiverse and there are heaps of ideas and things you can download and print....   but mainly because its a cool toy...  maybe design a 3D printed guitar pedal..lol

Space 1999...wow, talk about dating yourself, I use to watch that as a youngster.

3D printer huh....you'll probably get request...I know I might commission an item in the future lol
