nice!.I just finished working on a tele copy that I bought for 20 bucks...it was fun project...was missing a few parts...but got it done...just working on getting intonation down

Thanks, my friend.  And I want to be clear, I set out to make a "tele" clone, just to prove that a CBG hacker like me with a Home Depot or Lowes in the area, and a basic internet connection, can make a playable "standard" instrument. The real innovation is taking place with people here, who don't worry about what is hanging on the wall in the Fender/Gibson music shop.

This was my attempt at making a "Fender" with retail-store wood, hand tools, and a Christmas-present book on guitar building.  Is it a perfect "corporate" guitar?  Nah, there are mistakes everywhere.  When I plug it into an amp, can I play blues, and slide, and have a good time?  Yep.  And so... keep building, my friends.
