Thanks Unc.  It's a made in USA  "Hula Blues" Dobro I bought in  the early 90's. Maple body under the paint. I recently put a new National Cone and biscuit in it.  It's VERY loud in person, sounds like a metal body.

It's the first resonator guitar I ever saw (discovery was slow before the internet, kids).  Trying to learn how to play THAT guitar is the reason why I joined this community and started building and playing CBGs.  

It still has too many strings...

Beautiful tone and playing.  And then the singing and great story song starts.   Wow.  High 9s.  You should be proud as heck of this one and keep it in your song list.  

Nice git too.  What is the story on git? 

A Dos Equis amber does sound good.
